Lebanon Crisis Appeal
While the war in Gaza continues, Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have forced people to flee their homes. The government has estimated that around 1 million individuals (around 20% of the population) have been displaced. Thousands of people are in need of humanitarian aid. Without enough food, water, shelter, and medicine, conditions will become unlivable for people who have fled. Many households remain stranded without access to safe shelter and housing due to the high rate of displacement. On the 23 and 24 of September, more than 250 Israeli warplanes dropped about 2,000 missiles on Lebanon. In the span of a day, the strikes killed over 558 individuals, including 50 children, and injured 1,835 others. UNHCR estimates that 35% of displaced persons are children, whereas 52% are women and girls. Please donate today to support people who have lost everything to this war.
